A full day of racing Seaview Mermaids for £70 per head  for up to 36 members combined with unlimited numbers for lunch

Breakfast, lunch  and afternoon tea - £27

3 course dinner - £33 (excl wine)

Early booking is advised as bookings will be taken on a first come first served up to the maximum of 36.  Should demand for spaces be considerably more than 36 there is a possibility of renting the other  boats in the fleet. Younger family members are encouraged to attend provided they sail with their parent (half price for under 18s).

Friday 10th May
1900  Gather at the Old Fort Pub on Seaview seafront for a relaxed drink and supper

Visitor moorings available – book directly with Seaview yacht club (office@svyc.org.uk)

Saturday 11th May
0830 Coffee/Tea and Bacon rolls
0900 Briefing
0945 First warning signal race one.  Starts will be on the Club line allowing spectators to watch from the deck. 
Intention is to run 3 races before lunch and 2/3 after lunch depending on wind/weather.
2 course lunch from 1300 and afternoon tea and cakes from 1600.
1900  Drinks on the upper deck bar
2000  3 course dinner in the Mermaid room on the upper deck.
 
Sunday 12th May
Disperse to home ports
 
Accommodation options are many and varied ranging from the Seaview Hotel to the Northbank Hotel (great views but definitely quirky!) to AirBnB and B&Bs (many are run by Seaview club members).  All options are within easy walking distance of the Club.

Transport options are, apart from on your own boat, Hovercraft Portsmouth to Ryde, FastCat Portsmouth to Ryde (connects with the train – Portsmouth harbour), Wightlink car ferry Portsmouth to Fishbourne  - then a 10 minute taxi ride or Red Funnel car ferry Southampton to Cowes.
