Plastic Oceans Presentation by Jo Ruxton - Wednesday 3rd February 2016

Our responsibility to the ocean!

Plastic pervades our whole lives but we need to think and act differently in how we use this amazing material. Its impact is now global, causing extreme harm to our oceans and all life that depends on them. Jo gives us a global, factual and proactive perspective of this modern-day problem of plastic waste in our oceans, how it affects marine life and ultimatly threatens human health. She lays out the steps we need to take to resolve this situation within one generation.

We will also be showing an exclusive preview of the film - A Plastic Ocean’s official trailer due to be released on 4th February and will give a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film and learn why its message is so vital for the future of our oceans and all who depend on them.
