RTYC’s Sarah Hornby gets set to row Atlantic Ocean in The World's Toughest Rowing Race

Atlantic Endeavour are shortly holding a fundraising black tie ball which will be a great opportunity to meet the team and take a look at Ellida.  It promises to be a glittering evening including a Nyetimber reception, 4-course meal, live auction, raffle and a band.
Atlantic Endeavour Black Tie Ball

1830 Friday 23rd September
Royal Garden Hotel
2- 24 Kensington High Street London W8 4PT
Tickets are available here.  RTYC members are invited to take advantage of the discounted ‘Early Bird’ option.
The four young women will be rowing two-hour shifts around the clock for 40-60 days, battling the elements in 29-foot ocean rowing boat, Ellida.  Not only will they be chasing two world records (fastest women’s crew and fastest women’s four), they also aim to raise vital awareness and funding for their two chosen charities; Mind (the UK mental health charity) and Women for Women International (providing life skills training for marginalised women in post-conflict countries).

Sleep deprivation, harsh weather, vulnerability, isolation, blisters, salt sores, dehydrated food and desalinated water are just some of the challenges the team will face daily. The support of commercial partners such as key partner, Nabarro, and personal contributions has allowed the team to get to where it is now, however they are still on the lookout for sponsors and donors to acquire the necessary equipment and entry fees.

If you wish to support the campaign, there are a number of partnership packages available and the team also welcome support in the form of goods and service providers. In return they can provide increased PR, brand exposure and outreach, product endorsement, high quality media content and improved brand perception.
